Golfing with my Friend
Dianne Carr and I played our once-a-year golf game Tuesday on a gorgeous day. Thanks to Sonny for supplying me with clubs, tees, balls etc. We had a great time even though her back started acting up so she had to stop trying long drives and I spent a great deal of time in the sand or in the creek. We had to just laugh at ourselves, but it was certainly wonderfully beautiful and fun. Thanks, Dianne

That is so great! How fun. Golfing is a very frustrating sport to me. The two times I've golfed, I spent way more times swinging than actually hitting. I'm glad you had fun.
Well, when I see the photo of my drive, I can't see why it doesn't go anywhere! Still, it was a lot of fun and worth every minute to see the fabulous fall leaves in the canyon. Thanks, friend. What shall we take up for winter?!
Darn, I should proofread better. Double negatives to a former English teacher. Oh my! Of course, I meant "I CAN see why it doesn't go anywhere."
You'll be happy to know I didn't even notice the double negative. Ahhh, the joys of retirement.
I think we should go swimming at least once this winter (in an indoor pool, of course).
