Winter Wonderland
There is a cold and fiery beauty in winter, where the stiff black bareness of trees is iced in puffy piles of pure white snow--
where springtime promises of bursting blossoms hibernate, hide as mere memories, beneath frozen foam--
where the slow drops from crystal columns of ice whisper "soon," "someday," "shhhh."

Beautiful pictures and words Mom.
I appreciate winter when you put it like that!
