Trip to Jenae's 31st Birthday

I flew in on Wednesday Feb. 18 and stayed eight days. It was a marvelous time. Here are a few of my favorite shots.

My Sweetheart

In honor of Valentine's Day, I decided to include one of my silly love poems to Don.

Hooray, hurrah! Let's shout and sing.
A husband is a glorious thing--
at least it is when it is you,
and has your luscious eyes, it's true!
You melt my sinews, make me smile,
Give me giggles once in awhile.
I love you more today, my Sweet,
than mints or chocolates or any treat.
Three years is just a tiny smidgen
of the eternity I'll be your pigeon.

Gray and moist and marvelous,
early morning mist
leaves upon my chilly cheek
a soft and silent kiss.

Don discovered this fairly unusual egg. It has a real point to it!
